  • What is the maximum board size for any submissions?
    A2 (420 x 594 mm) is the maximum board size. Anything bigger will not be judged.
  • When is the deadline for entries?
    The deadline for all entries is Thursday, 3rd November 2011.
  • What is the Client Letter?
    A signed letter from the client, for whom the work/s was produced, saying they are happy for the work/s to be included in the awards and confirming the dates the work was aired or run.
  • Where do I supply the credits for my entries?
    Credits for ALL entries MUST be submitted when entering online. This can be done by selecting "Enter Credits" under the "Manage Entries" section of the site. Please note you will not be able to submit your entries until all necessary credits have been entered for your work. If your entry is awarded and you have failed to submit your credits, your work will be displayed at the presentation evening without credits.

  • Can I use abbreviations in the online entry system?
    No. Please note, that if your entry is successful, AWARD will use the supplied information for the AWARD Awards Presentation Evening as well as in the AWARD Annual (title, agency and client name).
  • What is a key number?
    Aka clock or ID number is a file identification number for audiovisual files.
  • What are the rules for entering work into 'Ambient' and 'Creative Innovation' categories?
    If you enter work into 'Ambient' or 'Creative Innovation', then you can't enter the same work in any other category. The work is not eligible for any other category.
  • Do I have to provide boards for all entries?
    Please read thoroughly through the 'How to Enter Details' which are listed below each category. You MUST provide boards for ALL executions where stated, or at least an overview board for judging.
  • The following categories DO NOT need to have board submitted:
    A Film and Video, B Craft in Film, H Radio and K Digital.
  • Finalist Work Art Exhibition
    Please take extra care when preparing your boards for judging.
    Please note that if your entry becomes an AWARD finalist it will be showcased in an art exhibition/installation at the Circus Festival of Creativity. Your work will be on display for the industry to view at the three day event. In some cases you may be contacted to re-submit your boards for the exhibition.
  • Are CDs or tapes accepted for entries?
    No. All audiovisual and audio files need to be uploaded online. EXCEPT for files OVER 250MB.
  • What is the minimum number of executions for a campaign?
    Three.
  • Does AWARD refund entry fees?
    No. AWARD does not refund entry fees. Please read carefully through the 'AWARD Call for Entries Details' before you enter your work.
  • Do I attach an AWARD label to three-dimensional entries such as brochures, objects etc.?
    No, but please write clearly the AWARD ID number on your entry (for example I.02-512).
    AWARD labels can be printed online and need to be stuck on the back of each entry board.
  • In what currency are the entry fees listed and must be paid in?
    Australian Dollars.
  • In what format must audiovisual files (spots and overviews) be submitted?
    Provide a link or MPEG2 file. Audio and visual in one file. Please refer to pages 23 and 24 for further details on entry requirements and file formats.
  • In what format must audio files (radio) be submitted?
    Provide a link or WAV file. Please refer to pages 29 and 30 for further details on entry requirements and file formats.
  • If I submit a URL for an entry, how long does it have to be live for?
    All URLs must be live until the end of March 2012. If the site is no longer live then a self-contained version should be made available on your own server.
  • When will the AWARD Finalists and Winners be announced?
    A list of AWARD Finalists will be announced on the AWARD website www.awardonline.com after the AWARD Awards Presentation Evening in March 2012.
